format sd card for mpc 2000xl to windows 10

Does anyone know if it´s possible to format an sd card for windows10 and mpc 2000xl ?

Format the card to FAT16 and it'll work in the XL

The problem is if i format it in the MPC my PC doesn´t recognize the card. It says "put in a medium".
Do you know that it´s possible to work with an sd card like that (transfering from pc to mpc2000xl) ?
Just because my CF-card slot is damaged....!

Hmmm... My PC only gives me the option to format FAT32, exFAT and NTFS. I tried the FAT32 and exFAT....

thanks a lot! i searched for hours to find something like that! I´m not good with such things. now i gotta find an sd card with 4GB maximum. Looks like it´s not possible with sd cards over 4GB. Thank´s for your help!

Aaaargh! Formated FAT16 but got the same problem! The Mpc can´t read the card.....

I got the OS 1.14. Could that be the problem?
