Ok so I have the addonics cf reader but idk which one it is. I have a pic but can't post it..doesn't say which model...
Need help identifying it

Bad idea. The card readers are Internal USB. Have a look at the connector.

the good thing about this drive is that it allowed me to access the floppy drive no problems. loaded my os and all luckily. whew! taking it back tonight thoooooo #cheapskatemoves

If I remember correctly, the 5 & 6 slot SCSI card readers don't work in the MPC due to SCSI ID # conflicts.
Microtech PCD50, PCD60 & PCD-62 didn't work on MPC's but they do work on desktop computers with a proper SCSI host adapter card.

Just so others know and for the record about StarTech and Addonics card readers...
They are basically the same readers,
the jumper needs to be set to Master,
they both need OS 1.2 to be used on the 2KXL
and both are NOT hot swappable. :nod:
