DJ mixer boothout to 2000XL input?

I'm considering using the booth output on the DJM-600 mixer to feed the input of the 2000xl for when I sample vinyl.

Will the signal be too hot. Am I going to blow the input on the 2000xl?

I've been doing that but I now plan to use rec out for my computer audio interface.
