What OS am I running ???

This thread describes two ways to get the OS version:
viewtopic.php?f=1&t=7625

If I do the "official way" (shift and 8, f3) my machine says:

Operating system: 1.2 Jul 15, 2004

But, if I do the other suggested method (Shift 5, Shift-F1, F4) It says :

Last Build: Sep 25 2002 18:21:48
1.14c -74 END:000741B0

So which one is correct ? What OS am I running ?

1.14c and 1.2 are the same OS.

1.14c was developed as a beta by the old Akai to support CF cards. When Numark bought Akai and released the repainted blue XL model they just renamed 1.14c to 1.2.

Does that mean the OG colour have slightly different components to the Blue model? I've read they have the exact same internal hardware, was just checking that's all.
