Does anyone know how to upload the beats from the CD ROM into the MPC

If it's a factory MPC CD ROM/Akai disk image I think you need a SCSI CD drive.

Hook it up with a SCSI cable put in the disc and go to disc screen on your MPC it should show up as one of the SCSI IDs 5 or 6. Then scroll to a .SND file or .PGM or .APS and click load. I haven't done it I use Zip100 and CF, but I'm sure it must be akai disk image.
