VARIATION SLIDER

Do you guys know if you can record a sample while using the variation slider
For example if I'm recording and tuning a sample and I start it off really slow and start speeding it up well it record that?

the slider has no effect in the sampling menu.

Slider has NOTHING to do with record in.

Even when you use it in main screen the slider does not pitch in real time it just sets the pitch for the MIDI note when it's triggered.
