Tracking out beats into Ableton

Ive posted on here before but just curious if anyone on here tracks out beats into ableton from there XL? I keep running into the same issue... i use an empty 4 bars so ableton can catch it but even then i feel like some of my tracks do not sound lined up properly like on the mpc... its extremely frustrating just wanting a beat i created on my mpc intk my DAW to mix. Any suggestions on how to curve this problem?

get and use the 8out card.
if you won't do that, then use a very short click sound followed by silence when recording every track, then line those clicks up.
in every case, keep adjusting tracks til they sound right.
