Chops are not saving!!

Hey everyone out here in the forums so using mpc2000xl mcd and whats happening is after I chop up samples then trim it in the trim do the beat and save when I go back to it the next day the sample chops are there but its like untrimmed and so I have to go back and trim it down again. Anyone know why its not saving the trim?

Hi Lampdog and Wal thnx for quick reply's. I do make a copy before I trim and do save with sounds. I just went back to another beat with a 808 that I had lowered and when I hit play the 808 was LOUD so its not just trimming. The mpc is maxed to 32 and doesn't say not enough memory. Do you know what could be going on?
