What midi wires would a I need to connect my mpc 2000xl to a presonus audiobox?

Black or red ones are fine.

Run from headphone out to midi in.
If you want stereo midi you could get a splitter.

Come on man, did you actually try to work this out before asking? both the MPC and the Presonus have the same type of MIDI port, it's a standard MIDI port requiring a bog standard MIDI cable. 5-pin Female DIN - if you checked the official specs of either unit you'd know this.

Okay but how many of them do you need I've seen ppl use two standard midi cables to record and idk what's with this male and female cables or what's the difference
