Loop function in TRIM Mode

Hello

I have a question regarding the LOOP function in TRIM Mode on the MPC2000. You can play around with the loop and then what does FIT do? I don't get it. I doesn't seem to affect any change at all.

If someone could shed some light into this, I would be very grateful. Thanks!

mpc2000 manual pg. 126 wrote: Loop:
This turns the loop ON or OFF.
Press FIT[F5] to display the Fit to length window.
This function enables you to set the loop to the same length as the
sample set in TRIM mode. Press DO IT[F5] in the Fit to length
window to execute this function.

It's handy if you're working with a perfect loop like 4, 8 or 16 bars, just hit fit and turn loop on
