upgrading

is there any dangerous if i want to upgrade my mpc to a mcd hot swappable on 1.4 os with 8 gb card or 4gb??
can any mcd hot swappable work on any mpc with any os with no problems and don't have to worry about anything just install it and work?
and what is the maximum compact card can the mpc 2000xl handle with the upgraded mcd?

If you don't know what you're doing it dangerous to service any electronic device.

No, use the search function, there is a thread for the card readers that work.
