BROKEN FLOPPY DRIVE ? MPC 2000 CLASSIC

looks like the disks are screwed... it loads the first disk further than the other two. That leads me to believe the drive is doing something. I suggest downloading the 1.72 OS from the internet (akai website or where ever) and making a new disk... if possible.

I had the same problem with floppy on my 2k classic. In the end the drive somehow made all floppies unreadable and they even couldn't be formatted. I'd recommend you to ditch the floppy and buy some SCSI storage instead.
