Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

Whats good people. I have an mpc2000xl and I'm trying to upgrade it. I still have the floppy disk in it but I want to upgrade that. I know this has been a discussion before but I wanted to see was there anything else out there to use. I dont want to go to mpcstuff they are fairly expensive. I also have a SCSI connector on the back of it. Is there a way to use that without changing out the floppy? Any suggestions? Thanks

You want to upgrade the floppy but keep the floppy?

What’s your budget for this floppy mod/floppy keep?

Sorry for the mixup. I saw on one of the other threads where they talked about upgrading to card readers. I would like to upgrade to a card reader but I want to make sure I get the right one. I also have a scsi connection on the back as well. Which one would be the best to use. Connecting a scsi drive or upgrading to a card reader. I would like to be able to transfer files from mpc to my computer and vice versa.

SCSI2SD for $60 would be your best bet for an internal removable flash card drive in your 2000XL.
