Only starting out so I'm no help...
but planning to use this kind of set up too
my initial idea was to do basic work on mpc then record tracks/finer editing on an audio editor then just import to live as wav files (or also simply import wav files from mpc)
Maybe this is a really inefficient way of goin about it...
But my mpc/mac are at two diff sites and I dont want to mess w/ a big midi/mixer setup as yet, just do basics track comp on mpc then do arranging on live and burn demo from there
