Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

Hello
Firstly I hope this is in the right place, not sure if I should have put this in production techniques but here it is.

I'm interested in making up PGMs with multiple sounds on each pad like the the break and beats vol I that the tutor has just put together
What would be the best way to go about this do you think

Is it done with recycle to chop up existing drums ?

Could you mix to sample together and put them direct on the mpc ?

What about the mpc feature where you can trigger two sounds at the
same time ? (i've never used that but i know you can not sure how though)

Is all this going to be part of the recycle tutorial i've seen people posting about ? if so when will that be up ?

Thanks

Recycle tutorials (part1 and 2) are up sometime on Saturday, I'll send out a newsletter to tell everyone.

part 1 is how to chop a beat, part 2 is how to export it to your MPC and part 3 will be about setting up programs like in Breaks n Bass. Part 3 is not written yet, peobably ready in a fortnight.

if your trying to put two sounds on one pad, program both sounds you want to two separate pads, after you have programmed both sounds, go back to one of the sounds in the program screen, arrow down to where it says "normal"(?) and change it to "Simult" and arrow over and set it to the other sounds pad...

if that is not exactly right, sorry I have a bad memory
