I've read that although the Behringer unit is great for the price, it sounds cold and lifeless with no character. The majority say the D8 is the best quality:cost unit, even over the Focusrite unit.

Never came across anyone who felt that way about the ADA8000.
Can't say that what I hear when I have to use the ADA8000.

As far as anything Presonus goes, after the way they screwed me on my Central Station warranty I can't see buying any of their products.

Hope the D8 works for you but it should since you won't be comparing it to anything just using it to esxpand your 003.

I was never a fan of Behringer but after they got exposed for the fake tube in their "tube" pre amp I was 100% convinced that they are not worth investing in.

I am gonna have to do my research.....this might not be what I am looking for
