open mpc ren as instrument track in pro tools 12

Hi,
I want to open my mpc ren as an instrument track in pt...
My problem is that all tutorials start at the point when you already have the mpc as an insert instrument in pt.
But I dont know how to get there. I pugged the mpc via usb in my pc and via s/pdif in my converter.
When I go in the preferences of the mpc I choose the converter as device and select s/pdif for audio output. Now it should actually work or not? But there is no signal comming through to pt...

Correct me if I'm wrong, you don't want to use it as a plugin?

I do want to open it as a plugin but it doesnt show up as one in pt.
(You know in the unit where you also find the Boom Drumcomputer f.e.)
Do I have to install the mpc in a specific folder of my computer maybe?

Ok I got it now, I just had to download the latest mpc update…
