scsi cables connected at all times

What up guys, finally got my Jaz to work. Got a few questions---->
1-When my MPC is off I still usually leave my jaz scsi drive hooked up to it. I was wandering if this would cause the scsi fuse to blow or anything.
2-Also should the jaz drive be shut off first, then the mpc; or vice-versa?
3-Is it dangerous to leave any scsi device still hooked up even though not in use?

Can any1 help? Thanx for the replies and views in advance.

Bo you'll be fine leaving it plugged in - I would turn it off after turning off the MPC, just to be safe.

Problems with the fuse occur when you plug the SCSI cable in whe the MPC is turned on (I would also make sure the Jaz is turned off as well).
