Long story short - MPC ONE to MC-707
MC707 is OK but can only sequence 8 tracks. I've looked at Squid, Polyend, 1010 & even MPC1000 JJOS etc but I'm eyeing a newer MPC again.
MPC ONE is out the question, I need dual OUT's to sequence an Access Virus in Multimode (up to 16 channels), TR-8S,Wasp,Typhon,S1,MC-707,MC-101 etc
So basically using the Live as a HW sequencer / brain.
Is anyone using one pretty much purely as a HW sequencer with a heavy track count?
Or with a heavy Midi track count and 4 or 5 internal sample tracks at the same time (not big multi's of course)?
Im looking at going for the original Live. I'm not concerned with the speaker etc
I also don't care about the built in soft synths, they won't be getting used.
Just wondering what these are like with a lot of MIDI data going out of them? I read an archive post of folk complaining that MIDI CC automation couldn't be recorded and replayed by the Live. I'm assuming this is all sorted now...
Cheers
