Peak is a fantastic audio editor and mastering solution. It really should be your first and last choice for editing, mastering, redbook cd-burning on the mac. Spark is dope too. Itunes is a very capable and free cd-ripping,mp3 encoding, wav and aiff encoding cd-burning monster. There's no editing though; you need peak or spark and peak is a one stop program. It's the best.

Peak is the STATE OF THE ART tool for all your Audio-Needs on the MAC!
I-Tunes is cool like damixx said for CD-Burning/ Ripping etc. and building up a Libary of your Tracks with different Playlists....
For CD-Burning, I´m using Toast Titanium 5.2 with my G4

I had my eye on Peak 4.0 already, but I needed to back up my info with someone else's point of view. I'm in a position where I can't be waisting time so your responses were very valuable. Good lookin' out...
