This seems to be a common issue as I read the topics on the subject.
I opened up the MPC to test the continuity of the socket and it's not faulty : the sleeve and the tip are connected the the PCB. So it's a PCB problem. Before I follow the traces until death or if I don't have the time to do it, what is likely to be faulty?
The main CPU or the ADDA? Or maybe a hint on a component that's more likely to fry?
