Does anyone know anybody who can repair MPC's in Melbourne, Australia?

I just bought a 1000 and the tact buttons need replacing, soldering required.
I've read it's pretty easy to do, but I have no exp. in soldering and I just KNOW I'll somehow fvck it up.

Can anybody perform this if they buy a soldering iron?

*EDIT*
Actually, before I think about changing tacts, would you guys recommend cleaning them? I've heard of DeOxit, but any tips on actually using it? Just spray that shit on?

Any electronics repair shop should be able to change tact switches. Doesn´t need to be a specialised MPC repair shop.

Oh and Deoxit D5 works amazingly well on worn out tact switches. You´ll need to open the MPC and apply it directly onto the switch. Press the switches a couple of times so it can get in properly.

How can you say that you check the forum periodically when you literally just made your account today.

Haha busted

Also why choose Akai Professional Australia as your username when your company you own/work for is called Electric Factory Service?

Would it make sense to use that as your username? :hmmm:
