MPC 1000 Harddrive port missing?

Hey fellas, quick question I went to install a harddrive in my MPC1000 and noticed theres no port. I opened it up and noticed the harddrive casing isn't in there. is there anything I can do to get this working?

Looks like the caddy is missing

Just buy akai hdm-10 harddrive adapter and you are ready to go.

The hdm-10 has nothing to plug into.

Thx for the help guys, but the green pcb board that has the internal harddrive connector on it is not inside this machine. When you slide in the AKAI HDM10 into the open bay there's nothing inside the unit for it to plug into. It's just not there. which is why I opened it up to see why when I push a hard drive in nothing happens.

Ok thats ridicolous. Just dont use a harddrive. For me, personally, if i were using a harddrive i would gather more and more garbage i dont use, so i prefer some drums on a cf/floppy (i got many different machines!) and sample the rest when needed.

I dont like building up tons of gigabytes of garbage and shitty samples. Just my 2 cents...
