It appears there are 2 types of tact switches for the buttons on your MPC 1000.

Part #: 688-SKHHAM or SKHHAMA010 and found here: http://ca.mouser.com/ProductDetail/ALPS ... 1LtnMH8%3d

Part#: ??? will add link and update this post once found.
UPDATE: I think I found it. TBC.
Part #: 688-SKQEAD or SKQEADA010 and found here: http://ca.mouser.com/ProductDetail/ALPS ... wLp3gB0%3d

Found this that might be useful to some as well: http://www.mpchunter.com/replacement-parts/

In another post I made viewtopic.php?f=15&t=182104&p=1715920#p1715920. An awesome user recommended this: http://ca.mouser.com/ProductDetail/ALPS ... 1LtnMH8%3d. The price is right and beats others at $8.

There is another type of switch required for the play, stop... buttons. Does anyone know the part number or can they find it on mouser or elsewhere? It's this one: https://www.mpcstuff.com/mpc-red-under- ... ct-switch/ and it looks like this

Thanks!

Yes you can! :-D
These are the same 5x5x6mm tact switches for the MPC2000, 2000XL, 4000, 1000, 2500, 500, (Maybe 5000?) and ASR-10.
I prefer the Omron tact switches but Alps will do the job too.
