MIDI cable won't fit

Ive got a set of Hosa keyboard pro MIDI cables and they won't fit in any of my inputs or outputs on my mpc. I thought all MIDI cables were the same? I feel like I'm gonna break it if I press too hard. What's the deal?

It´s got to fit because it´s a pro cable, right?

turn them by 180 degree?

I've found that midi cables tend to fit insanely tight on my 1000's. I used to worry if I'll end up breaking them at some point but stopped once I remembered how rich I am.
