Copy track to a Pad?

Is it possible to copy a track directly to a pad?
I know you can rerecord but the levels are different when you switch sequences. You can notice a big difference in sound level once you rerecord. I want to copy a track directly to a pad is it possible? Im using jjos 1 and the mpc 1000.

Before rerecord, you must go to OTHER menu and configure the output level to : 0dB
In TRIM mode you have to the possibility to normalise a sample, it will increase the sample sound level.

Covert to WAV file, drag onto card, load into pad. However, if you save it as too big of a file you eat up your space.
