Can you update JJOS from iPhone or Android?

Hi all, this is my first post.

I recently bought an mpc1000, and i’m having some problems which I think may be solved with an update to the latest JJOS, which is currently on version 1.16 on my machine.

However, I don’t currently own a PC and I wasn’t planning on getting one. I do have an iPhone and an Android tablet though, so I was wondering if you can update JJOS with either of these, and if so, how?

Ultimately you need to download the JJOS install file and transfer it to a CF card. Can you use one of these:

Absolutely no idea if this would work though.
