What ever happened to the "Note Off" feature ..

Hey guys ..

I'm so use to using the MPC 2000 .. I use to record using the "Note Off" feature which allowed me to release the note just by not touching the pad during recording segments ..

Does the MPC Renaissance have that feature ?

I have crazy loops I want to use as well as open hh samples that extend / sustain to long .. The Note Off feature would shorten the sample just by releasing the pad ..
