mpc 2500 jjos 3.45 xl program mode assign pads problem

im having a weird problem even with jjos 1.14 xl prior before the update to 3.45 xl when i go to program to assign a pad pressing up^ cursor will delete sounds assigned above and down will add, copy, assign the same sound im using to other pad over and over below them, i know you can easilly do this on main menu screen now but you know mpc 60 and 3000 heads got the old formula

Not sure but if I read you right, you have some hardware issue with those buttons, as coursors are not supposed to do that. For example what you described with "down" arrow is a second function of "undo" button.

Maybe make a factory reset first - hold Erease key while turning on and hold it few seconds.
