Discs are not loading sounds

I have a brand new MPC Renaissance. The mac that I am using is running OS X Yosemite 10.10.2. These don't come with a disc drive so I just downloaded the software from Akai. The MPC did come with 4 discs of sounds to install (the bank, 809 expansion, the noise, and the wub). I bought an external disc drive to install these and went through the steps but it doesn't show up anywhere on my computer. For some reason it won't load on my MPC at all they are no where to be found. Does anybody have any suggestions?

I think it would had been better to install the sounds where the Ren is installed, and then transfer them to the external.

I think someone best could chime in for I am break dancing and typing.
