MPC Ren set-up/first time home studio

Just got a Ren from a friend, I think it's at software update 1.2 and I have the latest OS MacBook. How do I update the Ren to the latest and ensure I have all the correct drivers etc?

Also, I just purchased an Akai LPK25 keyboard and and Moog Slim phatty. Can someone help me set everything up (step by step,
connections etc) so that the Ren and everything works together?

I won't be using a DAW, just that set-up with turntables and a 2 channel DJ mixer. Also, should I buy a multichannel mixer that everything goes into as well? Sorry for all the questions, I'm creating a home set up for the first time and just getting into recording. Thanks!

When you load up the MPC software, under help, you can check for updates.
download it, turn off MPC then install it and turn back on.

LPK25 and Moog need to be connected to your computer via USB cable. once they are, go to preferences tab and its under midi devices, make sure they are both ticked.

Now go play!
