Does My mpc "clip"?

hello all I am new to this forum and new to mpc! I have a mpc 1000

I have been making beats with reason for 6 years and finally I am moving over to an mpc and it sounds awesome! It sounds so awesome because it sounds like nothing is clipping... why is that? am i clipping and I just don't know it? built in limiter?? help????

Indeed there is a built in master compressor and eq in the mixer section.
You should download and reference the manual to get familiar with ur new mpc1000. They do alot those lil bastards.

It can clip if you sample a signal too hot and loud. In Record Mode, as long the threshhold bar is not maxing out, you'll be fine. It should max out occassionally.
