MPC and FL Studio template

If you wanted to use an MPC 1000/2500 as pad controller for FL Studio, how would you get the MPC & FL Studio to remember pad assignments after every start up & shutdown?

Would you setup a template in both FL Studio FPC and also save a program on the MPC to the autoload folder?

sure... and i believe there used to be a setting in FL called "overide generic link" or something similar... that makes it permanent if memory serves me correct instead of using link to controller).

the midi options will be saved in fl.. but i guess if you want to set up the pads to midi note numbers that makes sense in the real world it might be nice to save a program with that stuff.....


that being said, if you plan on only using the mpc as a pad controller.... why don't you get an MPD. they have more controller features than an mpc.

If using the MPC1000 as just a controller then thats one expensive controller.
