HI

The new Clips paradigm in MPC Live is very similar to the way Ableton uses clips. Pretty identical actually

Just wondering of anyone has developed a workflow to get their Ableton work into the MPC Live.

Cheers

When you "collect all and save" a project in Ableton, you should then be able to copy that project folder (just the samples) to a thumb drive, then open/load those samples into the MPC Live/MPC X via the browser. That specific workflow is next on my list of things to work out, but I think it's that simple. You just need to label the clips/samples in a way that makes it logical/easy to assign them to pads on the MPC. The browse/load process on the MPC is different. You load multiple samples into the memory, and then (in a different step) assign those samples to a clip program one-at-a-time. Does that make sense? It's not like Ableton or Maschine, where you select a channel, browse, and click the thing you want to load to that spot.
