ok fella then check this out
im trying to do a bpm match with a drum beat i took from paper thin and match is to some string i sampled from "usual suspects"
but when i try is speeds up the sample and it sounds like a kanye thing
is there a way to hear how fast the tempo is while im trying to fir it to the drum beat

BTW I know exactly what you mean. But remember some things will NOT work. If your beat is 170bpm and the sample is 210bpm unless the sample is on a record or something allowing you to manipulate the tempo, I dont think it will work the way you want it to.

Although the MP may have a feature that I have yet to explore.

I'm not new to the MP but sampling is a small challenge for me. Not a big one tho.

you can get the tempos sync in the mp no problem.

The problem is how digital or useable they will sound.

try double timing or half timing, that might make it work...
