Could someone tell me the specifications of the LCD contrast knob?
It‘s a 10kOhm pot. Pins 1,2,3 are the pot (2 is the moving tap), Pin 4,5 are both shielding of the pot housing, connected to LCD ground.
I guess it’s a linear type because of the 2 resistors that may alter the response curve of the pot. No risk of damage anyway.
