I'm running sync between the 2500 and an external fx box out of midi port D. The 2500 is the master and it works great, everything stays in sync between the two, that is until I put the 2500 into record mode/play, then it does not send the 'start' signal out to the fx box, but as soon as I take it off of record/play and it's just playing everything is right.
the reason why this is such an issue is that when I just play my sequences regularly in playmode I hear the fx properly but then when I want to record I can't hear what it's supposed to sound like because the 2500 is not triggering the external fx box?
do you know how to make the 2500 send the start signal out while in record/play mode?

, I was so frustrated and this will definitely work out. I'm running one of the free jj'os, I'm wondering which os you're running and if the start signal doesn't start in record mode in all version?
