Hi,
i have an mpc 2500 which has gotten the wires to the connector (the plastic thingy you plug to the boards) ripped off. I have the connector, but the wire is so thin that i cant easily fix it wit twining them to new wires

Does anyone know how to fix these types of connectors i any reliable way?

Thanks in advance

Are you saying the ribbon cables or the 3+ pin connectors? I think those are standard computer connectors, but I'm unsure of the exact specifications/part number. In any event it might make more sense to find a new one, I think they should be relatively inexpensive. If you can't determine the right connector post a picture and maybe it can be tracked down.

sorry for the late reply buddy.

this seems to be an easy solder job, just cut some isolated plastic from the wire, put a little solder on each of the wires and then solder them together and shrink it with shrinkable hoses (right word?!). then it should work normal as it does before.
