Whats the limit on samples??

I have about 5 16 bar samplesplaying together as well as a chopped up sample and some drums. I've never run into this problem before but i was trying to add some claps near the end of the verse and when i would hit them the other samples would cut out. I believe this would be a RAM issue but if someone could please verify that for me it would be much appreciated.
