I saved my last beat on another beat folder in my mpc HELP

I accidentally saved my last beat in the folder of my previous beat.
I dont think that the files can be recovered but do i have any prossibilitites to do that?

Any files with the same name will be overwritten, including the ALL SEQUENCES file. So as long as your programs and samples used different names you'll at least still be able to recover those. But it sounds like you'll have lost the sequences for the other beat.

That´s why I can´t stress enough to do regular backups!

When I was rocking the 2500 I used the internal harddrive as a backup drive only. Everytime I saved a beat I did it twice: one time to the CF card and one time to the harddrive. Every. Fvcking. Time.

So if the CF card would have died on me all beats would still be intact on the harddrive and vice versa...
