MPC2500: File transfer from CF to HD.

Hi,

New device owner. Is there a way to transfer files from my PC to the CF, then from the CF to the hard drive?
I have not found a way to accomplish this using utility for save/load. I was able to get my device to read a 300G IDE drive formatted in FAT32. The MPC can read and write without issue, but I lose the "USB" capability. Probably due to hardware limitations.

If I can perform a PC-->CF-->HD then I can overcome this obstacle. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

if you absolutely want to use that way (from pc -> cf -> hdd) then you have to load all samples into the mpc memory and then save them to the hdd. as only one device cf or hdd can be mounted to the mpc os at a time there is no direct way.

have you tried to format the hdd with the mpc? if not then do so, because only that format will function properly.
then try to connect the mpc over usb to your pc and push the samples directly onto the hdd.
