samples get canceled out when many are played at thesametime

hey guys,
I dont remember wich os I am using, i think jjos 3 point something. The thing is that when many samples are hit at the same time they sometimes cancel out samples that were previously hit but didnt finish playing . I have everything set to poly and i use different programs and tracks for each group of sounds (drums, bass, loop, synth etc). Does this happen to you and is there a way to fix it? thanks

welcome to the forums!

seems like you are maxing out the voice polyphony on the mpc (32 voices). remember that stereo samples will use two voices!
maybe convert some of the samples to mono to save voices?
