i think i shorted my hdd slot, don't know the next steps.

well for some reason i decided to insert my sd to ide adapter into the left and middle of the hdd tray and turned on the machine now nothing reads from there remotely and if i try to start up the machine with a different hdd or adapter it doesnt read them. if i put the sd to ide adapter into the hdd slot w/ the tray the machine wont start up until i take it out.

do i have to replace the tray connection piece and hard drive slot?
