That video is a fake, it was made in with Maya or Adobe by some pros trying to mess with you. Then they hacked Akai's webpages in other countries and posted the fake pic. It's all a hoax. The video is an illuision.

hahaha

It was a very good video for showing off what it could do though. It has a lot of features and abilities people have been dreaming about for a long time now. Syncing delay to tempo, recording AUDIO tracks that stay in sync with the beat, having things be sliced up automatically and be able to change the tempo drastically with it still sounding dope, and having really easy bpm matching with other loops as a result. That is pretty cool.

The only thing is that type of functionality on hardware has been around for a few years now. The dude on the video said that NO machine has that kinda functionality, which is just not true. The MV-8000 has all that and it's more sophisticated, and so do many of the current keyboard workstations on the market. Actually, Akai is still behind the times with all this, even on the 2500. It's a cool machine. Not worth 2 grand though, and that's probably the bare bones version too, with no HD or CD drive.

Very true..but not completely on an MPC..and how many of us still use an MPC??

The video was a poor way of really selling this MPC (which actually sells itself)...what he said was true from the slant of an MPC. The 2500 has features that the 4000 and MV 8000 don't have. Any MPC has a better sequencer (when used in conjunction with synths/synth reack modules)than what is included on keyboard workstations (from my personal experience).
