Can anybody tell me what the 2500 doesn't do that the 4000/1

It also has the same shift timing change as you described the 2500 has, same exact change. It looks like the same screen as the 2500, it's really big, about as big if not bigger than the 60.

All pretty much the same size. Just FYI.

I don't know how Akai measured these MPCs..but the numbers are funny.

Using those specs, the XL is longer horizontally wise and shorter vertically.

The 2500 is alot wider than the XL in all aspects

The screen size of the MPC 2500 is 1.5" longer both horizontally and vertically compared to the 2000XL.

I'm down with keepin it positive..I think we'll be getting these new features the 2500 comes with in a future version of the OS. I dont think the MPC4000 is quite done evolving. THey could take it forever...I'm not that positive though thinking that it's impossible for a 4000xl or 5000. But Its the beast and I doubt it would have machines at half the price step all over it.
