they will when it is officially released in the US. the only reason why they put up the other 2500 stuff on the US website is because Japan put there's out and akai US is receiving too many calls about it. if you notice, the manual on the US website is the exact same thing as the Japan one. the one where they still have mention about the1000 in it.

Akai's website definitely needs some correcting. Take a look at the accesories page under the MPC2500. http://www.akaipro.com/productsaccessories.html
MPC2500
EXM128 128mb Ram Expansion
CD-M25 CDR for MPC2500
HDM-10 Hard Drive Adaptor Kit
DPS16HC Soft Case for MPC2K/MPC25K/DPS16

From what I understand, the 2500 already includes the HDM-10. That item should be listed under the 1000, but it's not.

Maybe US released MPC 2500s will not have this kit. You know Akai USA has to get their money

Who knows, it could be a mistake. But I remember when the MPC 4000 was initially released. US customers had to buy units with the hard drive and CDR drive installed..at a premium. While in Japan, you can buy them without the drives and install them yourself. Only later did Akai USA release the MPC 4000 LE (or what ever they called it) without the drives.
