cd drive and HD recommendations?

please do a search as this has been brought up. as far as cd roms, only one can be used and that's the akai CD-M25. as for hard drive recommendations, please visit the 1k forum and look for my sticky titled "...hard drive recommendations" the 1k and the 2.5k use the same type of hard drives.

There has been people trying to test 3rd party cd drives but none of them worked.
please b4 you post, search.
