The Google Translating Tool suks when translating this page. But wifey broke down what the announcement is.....

As of Dec 1, Pro Audio Japan Corporation is the big dawg on the block. Akai Professional, Akai Digital, Numark, and Alesis now fall under its umbrella. Pro Audio Japan Corporation will be based in Yokohama Japan at the same address Akai Professional use to reside.

I will be calling them after the holidays..at least my wife will..to see if I can get any details about the new MPC 2500s OS.

NOmark is doing it's thing...
About the new OS for the 2500, perhaps they'll use the same approach as with the 1k: put it on the new models and let the old customers wait

subvertbeats, i think you visited http://www.akaipro.jp before, that's still there.
The other one is a new domain for Japan. Typically for Numarks's shady way of doing business. A new distributor - a new domain.
They probably fired most of the original Akai JP employees like they did when they took over Akai US.
