recording problems

hi there only just got my mpc2500 hooked up today. and im having trouble playing back the samples i have recorded in the direct recording mode.l just want to know how i can play them back by hitting the pads basically and getting them ready for recording a beat. can anyone help. i have looked quite a bit but cant find nething. cheers

You have to assign the sample (recorded in direct recording mode) to a pad in the Program Menu.
