Currently using JJOS 1 on the MPC 1000. Is there a JJOS update that allows me to record audio as a mono sum of L/R? I most always record samples in mono or sum a stereo sample to mono, but JJOS 1 only allows stereo/left/right.

JJOS2XL.

And in program mode there's a non destructive setting that allows you to switch from STEREO/L/R or L+R.

Followup question: I'm using JJOS2XL. What setting do I need if I want to say, record my bass guitar into my MPC1000? I'm plugged into the left input. I don't want stereo because I want the sample to come out of both sides. Mono L? or Mono L+R? What is the correct setting?

Mono L

As far as I remember, Mono L+R will essentially take both channels and mix them to Mono.
